About the Event

Designing and improving products, services, or processes is essential for the success of any business, with experimentation as a key step in the design and development process. However, traditional experimental methods such as best guess trial and error or one factor at a time (OFAT) have many shortcomings that could delay the process or product sub-optimal results. Design Of Experiments (DOE) provides a structured approach to experimentation that overcomes these shortcomings and leads to more efficient and effective experimentation.

Screening Design Of Experiments – Identifying Significant Factors From Many is the first of a 2-part series that introduces the DOE approach to experimentation. In the Screening DOE module, we will introduce the first layer of a structured approach, where the objective is to identify the key input factors that have an influence over the desired output response for our product, service, or process.
