About the Speaker
David Silor is currently a Principal sterilization/microbiology consultant at Silor Consulting LLC.
Prior to establishing his consulting business, he was a Principal Sterilization Associate at Zimmer Biomet for 15 years with responsibilities for supporting all sterilization processes across the global Zimmer Biomet network.
Prior to working at Zimmer Biomet, he spent 10 years at Johnson and Johnson with various responsibilities in the area of sterilization and microbiology.
His areas of experience in sterilization include hydrogen peroxide gas plasma, vaporized hydrogen peroxide, ethylene oxide, peracetic acid, dry heat, radiation, and steam.
He also has background in the areas of biological indicators, bioburden control/monitoring, bacterial endotoxin control and monitoring, and purified water systems.
He has served on various AAMI working groups over the years.
