Speaker: Doug Leonard. Vice President of Laboratory related Accreditation services for ANSI/ASQ National Accreditation Board. ANAB is a signatory of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) multilateral recognition arrangements. Accreditation bodies around the world typically pursue IAF and ILAC recognition through one of the recognized regional cooperation of these organizations

Doug is the delegate for ILAC representing ANAB and helps the international accreditation community by working within the Arrangement and Accreditation Committees. His directly involvement is within working group two improving traceability and measurement uncertainty in our community. Doug is the treasurer and delegate for (NACLA), National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation, a national recognition authority for accreditation bodies. Doug assists with standards through his chairmanship with the Accreditation Body Subcommittee for ASTM.  Recently Doug has been placed on the board of directors for the Independent Laboratory Institute to help educate, promote, develop and conduct research or review in the engineering, scientific and testing fields that is responsive to the needs and concerns of laboratories in the US.
